What platforms do Aether apps support?
All Aether apps require iOS 26+ and watchOS 26+. Arc also supports macOS 26+. We focus on Apple's latest platforms to deliver the best experience with features like Live Activities, SwiftData, and modern SwiftUI.
Is my data private across all Aether apps?
Yes. Every Aether app is built with the same privacy principle: your data stays on your device. We don't have servers, don't collect analytics, don't show ads, and can't see your information.
Do I need an account?
No. Aether apps don't require account creation. No separate Aether account is needed.
How do I request a refund?
All purchases are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
I found a bug. How do I report it?
Email us at hello@madewithaether.com with: which app, what you were doing, and what happened. Screenshots or screen recordings are incredibly helpful.

How does thought parking work?
When you're in a focus session and an intrusive thought appears (like 'I need to call Mom' or 'Don't forget to buy milk'), you tap the capture button and speak. Aether transcribes your thought, detects its intent — action, idea, worry, or info — and suggests the right triage path. You're back to focusing in under 5 seconds.
Is my data private?
Completely. Aether Ember has no servers. Your thoughts, sessions, and preferences are stored only on your device using Apple's secure frameworks (SwiftData, UserDefaults). We don't collect analytics, don't show ads, and can't see your data—because we never receive it.
What platforms does Aether Ember support?
Aether Ember runs on iOS 26+ and watchOS 26+. We support iPhone and Apple Watch, with Live Activities for your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, plus Home Screen widgets.
Is this a medical app for ADHD?
No. Aether Ember is a productivity tool, not a medical device. It's designed to support how minds naturally work—with momentum, not pressure—but it's not intended to diagnose, treat, or manage any medical condition. Always consult qualified health providers for medical advice.
Will there be paid features in the future?
All core features are free forever—unlimited sessions, thought capture, widgets, and Watch integration. We may add optional power-user features later, but the free tier will always stay free.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Captured thoughts can be dispatched to Apple Reminders or Notes at any time. This removes them from Aether and places them in those apps, which have their own export capabilities.
How do I sync between iPhone and Apple Watch?
Ember uses App Groups to share timer state between your iPhone and Apple Watch automatically. Just ensure both devices are signed into the same Apple ID and have Bluetooth enabled.
