Our Core Privacy Principle: Your data stays on your device. We don’t collect, store, or access your personal information on our servers—because we don’t have any servers.

The following data is stored locally on your device using Apple’s secure frameworks (SwiftData, UserDefaults, and App Groups):

Apple Intelligence & On-Device Processing

Aether Drift uses Apple Intelligence for pattern recognition:

  • On-Device Only: All analysis happens locally using Foundation Models
  • Private: Your patterns are analyzed without sending data to the cloud
  • Personalized: Insights are tailored to your unique focus rhythms

Data Sharing with Aether Ember

Aether Drift receives data from Aether Ember via SwiftData:

  • Local Sync: Data syncs directly between apps on your device
  • No Cloud: No data is transmitted through our servers
  • Opt-In: You control which data flows between apps

Widgets and Live Activities

Aether Drift uses iOS widgets and Live Activities:

  • Local Only: Widgets display data stored on your device
  • No Data Transmission: Widget updates are handled by iOS, not sent to us

Third-Party Services

Aether Drift does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics, or tracking tools. The only external services used are:

  • Apple Intelligence: For on-device pattern analysis (Apple’s privacy policy applies)
  • SwiftData: For local data storage and app-to-app sync

Data Retention and Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

  • Retention: Data remains on your device until you delete it
  • Deletion: Uninstalling the app removes all local data
  • Sync Disconnection: You can disconnect from Aether Ember at any time

Children’s Privacy

Aether Drift does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app does not require any personal information to function.
