Aether Drift
Drift on purpose.
The ambient day-layer for minds that move. Drift holds the thread so you can drift between tasks — capture any thought in five seconds, set one intention in the morning, and let Drift route the rest out to where it belongs.
Ring 1 TestFlight — Spring 2026
The drift is allowed. The drift is yours.
Most productivity apps treat task-switching as the bug. Drift starts from the opposite premise.
ADHD brains move. They chase novelty, association, dopamine. They drift between threads — and that movement is not a malfunction. It's the operating mode. The problem isn't that you drift. The problem is that when you drift, the thread gets lost. Drift's job is to hold the thread.
Designed for how your mind actually works
Anytime Capture
Voice-first thought parking in under five seconds. From the widget, lock screen, Watch, or Siri — no timer required.
One Daily Intention
One question each morning. One sentence in response. Visible all day. No goal lists, no time blocks, no way to fail.
Triage, Not Storage
Swipe captures out to Reminders or Notes. Drift never becomes the permanent home for a task — it's the five seconds between thought and home.
No Shame, No Streaks
No scores. No consistency metrics. No dashboards that make you feel behind. Drift holds the thread, nothing more.
Ember Launcher
One tap opens Aether Ember with your intention as the session label. When you're ready to lock in, Drift hands the day off.
Drift and Ember, motion and still point
Drift stands alone. With Ember, the pair is the full story.
Drift names the open-ended motion of a day — the morning when you're figuring out what matters, the afternoon when you rotate between five half-done projects, the five-second intervals when a thought hits and needs a home. Ember names the single moment when you lock in. When you tell Drift you're ready to work, Drift launches Ember with the day's intention as the session label.

Your day is yours alone
No account. No sync server. No tracking.
Drift categorizes captures with on-device intelligence via AetherKit — nothing leaves the device in Ring 1. Later rings will add optional CloudKit sync for multi-device users, but there is never an account, never a server, never a place your captures live outside your own hardware.
